I’m super proud of this post because I can finally tell you all my happy news: I’m now offering my services as a Professional Organizer! I went through my bathroom closet this weekend and figured it would be the perfect post to show you a small version of what I’m offering. But before I show you that, here is my shameless plug. My services include but are not limited to: clutter removal, paper organization and filing, downsizing, increasing functionability, packing and unpacking, time management, and goal setting. If you’re interested or have any questions, please send me a message! I can’t wait to help you out 😊 Now onto the closet.
Since I moved into my house two years ago, I have been throwing all of my bathroom supplies in this closet and not really taking the time to organize it. Because of this, I always had a hard time finding small things like toothbrushes and feminine items so I kept buying more and more… oops. I finally took everything out of the closet and put everything back in a way that I could easily reach what I need.
My shelves have holes in them, so skinny bottles would fall over all the time which added to the mess. To avoid this, I used old cardboard boxes with the flaps cut off to hold all of my hair products and hand soaps. I also used a cardboard box to keep all of my feminine products together so I could eliminate some of the excess containers. To keep smaller items from falling through, I used small plastic containers that used to hold rubber stamps. They were also the perfect size for my hand sanitizer and face masks!

The goal of organizing isn’t to make a space perfect, it’s to make it functional and easy to use. This project cost me nothing to do because I repurposed “trash” from around the house. I could always make this look prettier by painting the boxes or covering them with extra fabric, but I don’t feel that need yet. And remember, organization doesn’t have to be hard or expensive. Just start with something small and go from there 😊 If you need any help, I’d be glad to offer my services!
