Halloween Spoons

As I was scrolling through Pinterest looking for more fall crafts, I saw this super cute picture with these upcycled wooden spoons. I’m not much of a painter, so I’ve pinned this before but always skipped past it… but not this time! I finally went for it and I think they turned out super cute!

I used:

4 wooden spoons

Acrylic paint (green, orange, black, and white)

Paint brushes

To start, I painted each spoon with the base color. One white, one orange, one black, one green and then I let them dry for a few hours. I had to mix my own orange color because it wasn’t the exact shade that I wanted, but that’s the fun of paint! I pretty much copied the image from Pinterest for my designs, so there wasn’t much to this project. When the spoons were dry, I just painted on the faces as you see in the picture.

I’m just really happy with how they turned out because I never paint like this. So this is just me going outside of my comfort zone, and hopefully encouraging you to do the same! I’m thinking one of my next projects will be decorating the jar they’re in, so keep an eye out! As always, if you take any fun pictures of any crafts, tag me on Instagram @SmileMakePeopleWonder and use the hashtag #DandelionSmiles.
