Do you need a quick colorful craft to get you through the week? I sure did. Iβm not sure why I was inspired to make this, but I had everything I needed and this added some goofy colorful items to my dΓ©cor.

I used:
Seashells
Crayons
Tea candles
Heat gun

First, I picked my favorite seashells. I chose the ones that had a decent scoop and were large enough to hold a candle. Then I carefully used my heat gun to melt crayons into the bowl of the shell. I chose blues, silver, and white because it felt⦠oceanic. It made sense in my mind. The crayon wax melted pretty fast, so I used a rag to hold the shell and tilt it back and forth as the wax melted. That helped me coat the inside of the shell evenly before it cooled. Once it was cooled, I put a tea candle in each of the shells and used the heat gun to carefully melt them into place.

Iβm honestly not sure what Iβm going to do with these candlesβ¦ maybe Iβll line my bath with them or make an ocean themed centerpiece. All I know is that when my brain thought of this idea, I had to make it happen. Iβve seen variations of it before, but I kind of like this pop of color.
