Candle Wax

Have you ever gotten to the bottom of a candle where the wick won’t light anymore and get frustrated that there’s so much wax left in the bottom? I usually get to this point and try to use a knife to peel it out of the bottom of the jar, or do a double boiler on the stove to try and melt the wax. Well, TikTok taught me something today and I had to share it with you!

I used:

Old candles that won’t light anymore
Teapot
Water

This project is SUPER easy and really quick. I can’t believe I never thought of it before! All you do is boil water in the teapot (or normal pot) and pour it carefully into the candle jars. The water will melt the wax, it will rise above the water, and then cool and harden. Once it’s fully cooled off, you can pull it out of the jar and use it in a wax warmer. It also leaves you a nice cleaned out jar to use for future crafts! 😊 As always, if you take any fun pictures or videos, tag me on Instagram @SmileMakePeopleWonder and use the hashtag #DandelionSmiles.
