Hey everyone! So I fully planned on spending a night crafting and another night writing…. But life got in the way. In good news, this means that business is picking up! In less good news, I haven’t had as much time to spend crafting. I’m learning that I need to focus more on setting times that I’m not working so I have “me” time outside of the business… but this week got away from me.
Aside from bonding with my friend/employee and getting admin work for the business done, I made time to get my vaccine. I had originally scheduled it for the end of this month, but apparently Walgreens had some walk-in availabilities when we showed up after work. It went smoother than expected. They made us wait about half an hour to make sure they had enough no-shows, then we got to pick which arm we wanted stuck and sat down in the chair. It took about 2 seconds and was pain free…for the most part.
As I’m writing this, it is Thursday night and I got the shot about 25 hours ago. My arm is a little sore when I lift it, but feels mainly like a bruise. Other than that, no symptoms to report! In about 3 weeks, I will be eligible to get my second and final shot. I’ll update you, of course! Hopefully it’ll be just as boring of an update as this one 😊 I can’t wait until everyone has access to the vaccine and we can find our new normal! Go get vaccinated!
