Goooood morning everyone! Iβm gonna keep this short and sweet today because I actually waited until this morning to write instead of prepping my story. I got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday afternoon and wanted to wait to see if I had side effects before updating you π So far, itβs been aboutβ¦ 16 hours since I got stuck with that needle and I have no new symptoms to report. My arm started to get sore during dinner last night, but no dizziness or sweats or fever which is great!
Iβm going to be pleasantly surprised if this continues. Most of the people Iβve seen on my timeline have had at least some major side effect the day after their second shot and they seem to be healthy people. I have a chronic illness called Dysautonomia that affects my nervous system (including the heart), so I was very anxious getting this second dose. But it seems like my body is working better than expected and I may have lucked out with a day off and no symptoms! Wellβ¦ aside from a little soreness in the arm.
Until we know more about how the vaccine works and it seems safer, I will keep wearing my mask in public and ask that everyone else does as well! Letβs slow this spread, get vaccinated, and stay healthy!!
